    The Experience

An unforgettable journey through one of South Africa's most breathtaking landscapes

The Hemel-en-Aarde ("Heaven and Earth") Valley behind Hermanus is one of South Africa's premier cool-climate wine regions and internationally recognised for exceptional Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. We offer two private Hermanus wine tour options on this page: a Half-Day Hermanus Wine Tour (4–5 hours, 2–3 wineries) for guests already staying in Hermanus, Onrus, Sandbaai, Vermont or Voëlklip — perfect for cruise passengers, couples, families and anyone with limited time or combining wine tasting with whale watching — and a Full-Day Hermanus Wine Tour (5–7 hours, 3–4 wineries) with an optional Cape Town Departure. Both tours visit the valley's most celebrated boutique estates — Hamilton Russell, Creation, Newton Johnson, Bouchard Finlayson, Ataraxia, La Vierge, Spookfontein and Domaine des Dieux — with a scenic drive up the R320, cellar tours, mountain-and-vineyard viewpoints and flexible itineraries tailored around your group. Please note: the Half-Day Hermanus Wine Tour is NOT available from Cape Town — Cape Town guests should choose the Full-Day tour with our Cape Town Departure package.

From the moment we collect you, every detail is taken care of. Travel in comfort with a passionate local guide, uncover hidden corners, and connect with the people, wildlife and wild beauty that make this corner of the world so deeply loved. This isn't sightseeing — it's storytelling, slowed down to your pace.
