Best time to visit
When to go
Year-round destination. Spring (Aug–Oct) brings wildflowers and mild weather; summer (Nov–Mar) is best for swimming in Kraalbaai's turquoise water.
Best for: Couples, photographers and travellers wanting an authentic, relaxed coastal escape away from the standard Cape tourist trail.
