A Garden Route safari
Botlierskop is a family-owned, malaria-free private game reserve of about 6,000 hectares on the Garden Route. It suits travellers already exploring Mossel Bay, George and the coast, and guests planning an overnight safari stop on a Garden Route itinerary. It is not a Cape Town city attraction or a Cape Town day safari.

Choose one activity of about 2–3.5 hours — a shared or private game drive, a sundowner drive or a horseback safari — and fit it into a Garden Route day. Lunch, the spa or a picnic can be added separately.

Prices are Botlierskop's published rack rates, valid 1 October 2026 – 30 September 2027. All bookings are subject to availability and final written confirmation. Children aged 3–11 pay the child rate on shared drives; 12+ pay the adult rate. Departure times are confirmed with your booking.

Wildlife on the reserve
Botlierskop describes its wildlife as free-roaming Big 5. Game drives look for elephant, lion, rhino and buffalo alongside many other species; leopard are elusive. Animals move freely, so no particular sighting can be promised.
