Cape Winelands
Cape Town Wine Tours
Private wine tours from Cape Town across Stellenbosch, Franschhoek, Constantia and the Hemel-en-Aarde Valley.
Every wine tour is private, departs with door-to-door pickup from your Cape Town hotel and includes a local driver-guide plus tastings at three or four estates. Choose a valley below to see the full itinerary, duration and per-person price.
Which Cape Winelands valley should you choose?
- Stellenbosch wine tour — the largest and most historic wine region, about 50 minutes from the city. Best for classic Cape Dutch estates and Cabernet-led reds.
- Franschhoek wine tour from Cape Town — roughly 75 km and 1 hour 15 minutes away over the Helshoogte Pass. Best for food, MCC sparkling wine and a walkable village.
- Private Constantia wine tour — South Africa's oldest wine area, inside Cape Town itself, as a 4.5-hour half day. Best if you have limited time.
- Hermanus Hemel-en-Aarde wine tour — cool-climate Pinot Noir and Chardonnay on the Whale Coast, available as a half-day from Hermanus or a full day from Cape Town.
Wine tours pair naturally with a Cape Point and Cape Peninsula day or, in whale season, a Hermanus day tour. See all day tours from Cape Town or ask us to build a private multi-day itinerary.
