What this paddle is about
The Fish Hoek to Muizenberg Surfski Tour is one of the most loved paddles in the local Cape Town scene. The line traces the inside of False Bay with constant Hottentots-Holland mountain views and an iconic Muizenberg finish.
We typically run it on Saturdays when conditions align — it's the day the local fleet paddles, and the atmosphere on the water is unmatched.
Your day on the water
Meet at Fish Hoek beach for a forecast read, briefing and ski fit. We launch through the gentle shore-break and settle into stroke heading north along the inside line.
The crossing is around 10km of open bay paddling, with seabirds, occasional dolphin pods and the mountain horizon shifting behind you.
We finish on Muizenberg beach below the famous huts — coffee, debrief and shuttle back to Fish Hoek for your car or onward transfer.
