    About the route

The Kloof Corner Sunset Hike is the best short hike in Cape Town. In under an hour you reach a ledge with views over Lion's Head, Camps Bay, the Atlantic Seaboard and the front face of Table Mountain.

It's family-friendly, photographer-friendly and perfect if you've only got an evening free.

We pick you up from your hotel and drive to the Kloof Corner trailhead on Tafelberg Road. A short, steady ascent with a couple of chain sections brings you to a wide ledge — the famous Kloof Corner viewpoint.

Your guide hands out trail snacks while you take in the sunset over the Atlantic. Descent is the same route, with headlamps on for the last few minutes.
