Is three days enough for Cape Town?
For a first visit, three well-planned days cover the experiences most travellers come for. Each day here is a separate private tour with its own vehicle and guide, so you can book one, two or all three, and move days around the weather.
Keep Cape Point for the clearest, least windy day, and hold Table Mountain until the cableway is running — it closes in high wind or cloud.
Which order works best?
Most guests start with the Peninsula because it sets the scene. The Winelands day is the most weather-proof, so it is the easiest day to swap if conditions change. Hermanus is best from June to November, when southern right whales are in Walker Bay; sightings are never guaranteed.
Private or shared?
Private days are priced per group, not per seat: R5,000 total for 1–2 guests, then R1,000 for each additional guest up to 12. Shared seats on Cape Point, Hermanus, Stellenbosch and Franschhoek are an alternative: Shared seat R1,400 per adult · minimum 4 paying adults. 13 or more guests receive a custom quote.
Official park fees — excluded, paid separately
Day 1 enters the Cape Point section and Boulders Beach in Table Mountain National Park. SANParks charges a daily conservation fee per person at the gate. The rates below are for international (non-South African) visitors and are valid 1 Nov 2026–31 Oct 2027. They are not part of any South African Adventures price or itinerary total; South African, resident and SADC visitors pay lower rates.
| Park / section | Adult 12+ | Child 2–11 |
